TDP demands Assembly, Council sessions on Vigilance report

Vijayawada, Sep 17 (UNI) Senior TDP Leader and MLC Dadi Veerabhadra Rao today demanded that the Andhra Pradesh Government immediately convene the Assembly and the Legislative Council to discuss the Vigilance Commission Report, submitted by retired Commissioner R C Samal. In the report Mr Samal had levelled allegations against some Cabinet Ministers and other officials.

Addressing a press conference here, he said nowhere in the country a retired IAS officer had levelled corruption charges against anyone.

It was the moral responsibility of the Rajasekhara Reddy government to give an explanation to the people on the issue, he said.
