Sub-inspector dismissed for hob-nobbing with criminal
Etah, Sep 17 (UNI) A police sub-inspector has been dismissed from service for his alleged connection with a wanted criminal.
Sub-inspector Ram Bahadur Gangwar was dismissed, after he was found guilty of setting free from police custody, a histoy-sheeter Rajkumar, police said today.
Rajkumar, who was wanted in four criminal cases, was arrested by Gangwar three days back.
However, Rajkumar told the cop that an Allahabad court had already stayed his arrest in cases pending against him.
Without checking the facts, Gangwar set the criminal free.
A high level inquiry was initiated into the matter, which held Gangwar guilty.
