Robbers loot Rs 25 lakh at Kalu in Jaipur

Jaipur, Sep 17 (UNI) Three robbers today looted Rs 25 lakh from a van, which was on its way to the Gotan town branch from the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) Merta City branch, near Kalu village here, a police spokesman said.

He said SBBJ Merta City (Naguar) branch's cashier was carrying the cash when the miscreants, in a car, stopped the vehicle near Kalu village, about 12 Km from Merta city.

''The armed assailants terrorised the bank staff and the driver and decamped with the cash,'' he added.

The police has launched a massive search to nab the robbers, the spokesman said.
