Raj Govt orders judicial probe into violence during Gujjar stir
Jaipur, Sep 17(UNI) The Rajasthan government today ordered a high- level judicial probe into the violence during the Gujjar reservation agitation today.
According to a government release, retired Rajasthan High Court Justice Fathe Chand Bansal will conduct the enquiry.
The order for a judicial Inquiry was followed by a demand made by a delegation led by Nathu Singh Gujjar MLA for the same.
The delegation members today met Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and demanded a probe into the violence during the Gujjar agitation, demading inclusion in the ST from May 29-June 4. Twenty-six people were killed in the violent agitation.
