Rahul Gandhi to visit Amethi on Sep 18

Amethi, Sep17: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would be on a three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Amethi from tomorrow. During his visit, Mr Gandhi will attend several programmes of the party and inaugurate some developmental schemes in the his constituency. The young Amethi MP will discuss the Gram Congress Pilot Project scheme, starting here, with the party workers, sources said today.

Mr Gandhi will attend nine programmes, including inauguration of a Bar Association building at Musafirkhana, and visit A H Inter College to unveil the idol of founder Pt Ram Narayan Mishra.

He will also assess the work of National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and attend meeting with the party leaders and workers of various blocks in Bhadhar, Jagdishpur, Jamo, Deh and Bahadurpur.
