Preparations in full swing for national BJP executive meeting
Bhopal, Sep 17 (UNI) Preparations for the three-day BJP national executive meeting here starting from September 21, would be completed by September 19.
Renovation work at the state party headquarters including construction of an air-conditioned chamber is in in last phases.
Mr Bhupendra Singh, who is in charge of preparations for the meeting, state BJP co-general secretary Bhagwat Sharan and state party vice-president Madhav Dave today reviewed the preparations.
Senior legislator Uma Shankar Gupta informed about reservation procedure and boarding arrangements of national executive members, representatives and their assistants and security personnel.
A welcome control room -- equipped with a telephone and other necessary arrangements -- has been set up at the Raja Bhoj airport.
Similar arrangements had been made at the railway station.
Senior BJP leaders, including former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and BJP National President Rajnath Singh, would participate in the event.
A public meeting would be organised on the last day of the meeting on September 23.
The meeting is considered important due to the present scenario.
A control room with six cells has been set up in the Pandit Deendayal premises for smooth management of the national executive meeting.
State BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar also reviewed the preparations. Arrangements had been made for mediapersons also at the media cell.
