PM to launch Aam Aadmi Beema Yojana from Shimla

Shimla, Sep 17 (UNI) Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh will launch ''Aam Aadmi Beema Yojana'' in Shimla on September 30.

The PM's schedule for Shimla was confirmed during Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh's recent visit to Delhi, sources here said.

The sources said PM would also address public gathering in Shimla after the launch.

The scheme is for providing insurance cover to the poorest of poor families.

Mr Singh's visit to Himachal was being seen as an important event, especially with the assembly elections in the state just few months away and Congress Government having a lot of expectation from centre even at this moment.
