PM recovering, to be discharged on Sep 18

New Delhi, Sep17: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who underwent a surgery to treat Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy of the Prostate on Saturday, is convalescing and is doing well, according to Prof K Srinath Reddy, Chairman, Medical Expert Panel for the Prime Minister.

"After completing post surgical tests, the Prime Minister will be discharged from All india Institute of Medical Sciences tomorrow and will return home," Dr Reddy said.

The surgery was performed by a team of doctors led by Prof N P Gupta, Head of the Department of Urology at AIIMS.
