Mentally disturbed man killed his wife and children

Mysore, Sep 17 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, a man said to be mentally disturbed allegedly hacked his wife and two daughters to death before committing suicide by hanging himself at his house in Kanchnenhalli near Hunsur taluk in the district.

Police said the Dodde Gowda (42) was said to be in depression allegedly slit the throats of his wife Vasaantha (32) and daughters, Chitara (10) and Sheswatha (7), with a cudgel and hanged himself to the ceiling.

Police said around two years back Dodda Gowda had lost his nine year old son and was mentally upset with the incident and never recover from the shock which might have led to the bizzare incident of decimating his family, the sources added.
