Man kills wife, daughters; commits suicide

Mysore, Sep 17 (UNI) A man, said to be mentally - disturbed allegedly hacked his wife and two daughters to death before committing suicide by hanging himself at his house at Kanchnenhalli near Hunsur taluk in the district.

Police said Dodde Gowda (42), who was in a state of depression following the death of his nine-year-old son two years back, allegedly slit the throats of his wife Vasaantha (32) and daughters, Chitara (10) and Sheswatha (7) with a cudgel and hung himself from the roof.
