Lalu asked to appear before CBI court on Nov 23

Ranchi, Sep 17: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has been asked to appear before the CBI court in connection with multi-crore fodder scam on November 23. CBI special judge Sanjay Prasad today asked the minister, who is also the president of Rashtriya Janata Dal, to appear in the court in connection with RC 39A/96, in one of the many fodder scam cases.

The particular case was regarding Dumka treasury from which Rs 80 lakh had been siphoned off.

Earlier, his name was not there but during the argument stage his name appeared.
