Haryana to organise 'Run for Fun' on Gandhi Jayanti, Nov 14

Chandigarh, Sept 17 (UNI) The Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Haryana will organise 'Run for Fun' event on the birth anniversaries of Mahatama Gandhi and Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.

Mahatma Gandhi's birthday on October 2 will be observed as a non-violence day and of Pandit Nehru on November 14 as Children's day.

An official spokesman of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department said that about 1000 coaches, sportspersons and students of various educational institutions would participate in the run which would go through main roads of the towns and conclude at the main sports stadium in the districts of the state.
