JK: Couple among 3 killed, 2 injured in mishap

Jammu, Sep 17: Three people, including a couple, were killed and two others injured critically, when a vehicle they were travelling in rolled down near Sunderbani in Nowshera town of Rajouri District in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said the couple and their one-year-old child died on the spot, while their relative and his 18-month-old daughter got critically injured after their vehicle rolled down and plunged into a deep gorge near Godar village in Kalidhar area of Sunderbani around 60km from here, last night.

The deceased have been identified as Kamaljeet Kaur, Jagjeet Singh, son of Amrik Singh, and their 12-month-old daughter, residents of Chatha in Jammu.

Meanwhile the injured have been identified as Hardayal Singh and his 18-month-old daughter, resident of Rajpura Bhatta in Nowshera.

Locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Sunderbani Hospital.
