Star Health & Allied Ins launches online portal

Chennai, Sep 16: Star Health&Allied Insurance today launched www.starhealth.in, an exclusive health insurance website to enable online subscription of insurance policies.

The online facility of Star Senoir Citizens Red Carpet Policy would allow those between 60-69 years of age to avail it without any preliminary medical checkups.

"With the addition of the website we intend to offer consumers a well priced and convenient way to purchase the insurance they need'' "Company CMD Jagannathan said in a release.

"The site is built with a very user-friendly platform, which makes it very easy to subscribe to our policies via internet.

Customers can purchase various health policies without any paperwork and medical examination,'' he added.

They could pay for the policies online through a credit card.
