Bhopal, Sep 16: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh has said there would be no power cuts in his state from next year.

''The state would have additional surplus of power of 10,000 MW by the end of the Eleventh Five Year Plan,'' said Dr Singh, while talking to reporters here last night.

He said the government had inked MoUs with private and public sector units for producing about 30,000 MW.

The Chief Minister hoped that the state would soon be among power-surplus states.

He added that the BJP Government was paying special attention on infrastructure development.
