2 wanted criminals killed in encounter

Chitrakoot, Sep 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh police today gunned down they father-son duo, of an inter-state gang, carrying a bounty of Rs 10,000 each on their head, in an encounter in Mau area here.

Shiv Bhajan and his son Hari Lal were shot dead in the encounter by Special Operation Group (SOG) and Mau station police late last night in the jungles of Bariyarikala.

Shiv Bhajan was facing 24 criminal charges, while Haril Lal was accused in ten heinous crimes.
