Tributes paid to Annadurai in Pondy

Puducherry, Sep 15: Floral tributes were paid to late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and stalwart of the Dravidian movement C N Annadurai on his 99th birth anniversary here today.

Puducherry Welfare Minister M Kandasamy and senior officials of the territorial administration garlanded the Anna statue here on behalf of the Government.

Leaders of the DMK, AIADMK, MDMK and DMDK also garlanded the statue on the occasion.

The DMK and AIADMK workers, led by party leaders, took out separate processions.
