Rs 26,000 cr Express Highway for Farrukhabad

Farrukhabad, Sep 15 (UNI) Farrukhabad district is being linked to the proposed Rs 26,000 crore Express Highway running between Noida and Ballia district.

''The highway to be built with the help of private investment, would be 1,000 km long,'' state PWD minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui said, while adressing BSP workers here.

Permission had been sought for the highway from the centre.

Once the highway is completed, the distance between Ballia and Delhi could then be covered in just eight to nine hrs, he informed.
