Rahul Gandhi to visit Amethi

Lucknow, Sep 15: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit his parliamentary constituency Amethi on a four-day tour starting from September 18. During his visit, Mr Gandhi would attend several programmes of the party and inaugurate developmental schemes. Congress spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh said here today that the Amethi MP would attend nine programmes including inauguration of a bar association building at Musafirkhana.

On the second day, Mr Gandhi would attend a meeting of the party leaders and workers in the morning at Sanjay Gandhi hospital, Munshiganj besides attending five other programmes during the day.

On September 20, he would attend party meetings and participate in an Iftar party at Salon in the evening.

On the last day of his visit, Mr Gandhi would meet the senior leaders of the party in the morning, and attend some other programmes in the constituency before returning to New Delhi.
