30 feared drowned in Karnataka

Bangalore, Sep 15: More than 30 people were feared drowned when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus carrying them plunged into a well at Athani Taluk in Belgaum district this morning.

According to oficial reports, eight bodies had been recovered so far and rescue operations were on.

Top district officials and police rushed to the spot.
