More human skeletons recovered in Etawah

Etawah, Sep 15 (UNI) Some more human skeletons were recovered during the digging of a well in the Jaswant Nagar area of this district where two human skeletons and a few skulls were found on Thursday.

On Thursday, at least two human skeletons and some skulls were recovered from a well here. The skeletons were said to be of the two children who were kidnapped for ransom from Nargi area of Ferozabad district in 1998.

SSP Ajay Kumar Mishra said investigations are underway and the digging would continue. If the need arises, the case would be handed over to the CB-CID.

So far, at least 30 skeletons and skulls have been recovered from the well. Besides this, toys, clothes and milk bottles were also recovered.

UP DGP Vikram Singh had said the district police of Etawah had been directed to go in for a DNA test of the human skeletons and skulls of the children.

According to Mr Singh, on the interrogation of a criminal, the skeletons of children, murdered after kidnapping, were recovered from the well.
