MCD extends deadline for recieving applns under Urban vendors scheme

New Delhi, Sep 15 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has extended by one month the date for reciept of applications under the National Policy on urban street vendors.

Informing this to mediapersons here, chairman of the MCD Standing Committee Vijender Gupta said extending of teh deadline, which expired today, had been done to accommodate maximum possible eligible beneficiaries.

Besides, a number of changes had been incorporated to make the process more simple, fool proof and transparent, Mr Gupta said.

He said that now, the eligible Urban street vendors under the scheme can file their applications at zonal CSB vendors.
