Lance Naik commits suicide in Delhi Cantt

New Delhi, Sept 15 (UNI) A Lance Naik of the Army committed suicide in the Delhi Cantt area this evening, police said.

Lance Naik A K Jha of the 14 Bihar Regiment shot himself with a rifle while on duty at an army post at Shankar Vihar in the Delhi Cantt area at 1815 hrs.

A K Jha was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said.

A resident of Bihar, A K Jha had been posted in Delhi for the last one year.
