CYSS demands apology from J'khand CM for his statement
Ranchi, Sep 15 (UNI) Demanding an apology from Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda for his statement over appointment of local people in government jobs, Chatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) convenor Uday Shanker Ojha today said this would create a "friction".
Mr Ojha told reporters here a large number of poeple from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal and Bihar were earning their living in the state for the last several years and added that such a statement would hurt their sentiments.
On September 12, Mr Koda, while addressing a gathering in Khunti, alleged that the people from the state would be appointed in the upcoming governmednt jobs.
Mr Ojha said Mr Koda should tender an apology for his statement.
He said the CYSS would launch an agitation protesting the Chief Minister's statement, adding that an effigy of Mr Koda would be burnt on September 18. A memorandum would also be handed over to MLAs and presidents of all political parties in the state in this regard, Mr Ojha added.
