Bandh to demand district status for Sadar hills

Imphal, Sep 15 (UNI) The Sadar Hills District Demand Committee (SHDCC) has called a 48-hour Sadar Hills bandh from September 17 midnight, demanding full district status for the area.

The Sadar Hills was presently under Senapati district.

The Committee had also organised bandhs and economic blockades earlier on a number of occasions for the same purpose.
