30 feared drowned, 9 body recovered

Belgaum, Sep 15 (UNI) In a tragic incident, more than 30 people were feared drowned when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) owned bus in which they were travelling fell into a open well at Athani Taluk in Belgaum district of Karnataka this morning.

Police said that 9 bodies were recovered and 12 injured were rescued and admitted to Hospitals.

The bus was bound for Kirangi from Athani when the incident tookplace.

Rescue operation were continuing.
