10 people killed and 12 others injured when a bus falls into well

Belgaum, Sep 15 (UNI) Ten people were drowned and 12 others injured when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), in which they were traveling, plunged into a well at Athani Taluk in Belgaum district this morning.

Police said 10 bodies had been recovered so far.

The injured, who were rescued, had been admitted to various hospitals.

The bus was proceeding to Kirangi from Athani when the accident occurred, police added.
