10 drowned, 12 injured as bus plunges into well

Belgaum, Sep 15 (UNI) As many as 10 people were killed and 12 others injured when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus, carrying them, plunged into a well at Athani taluk here this morning.

Police said ten bodies were recovered so far.

The injured, who were rescued, were admitted to various hospitals.

The bus was proceeding to Kirangi from Athani when the accident occurred, the police added.
