Imitating TV scene leads to death of boy in Maharashtra

Akola, Sep 14 (UNI) Imitating a scene from the television proved fatal for a star-struck youngster.

Police today said eleven-year-old Nagesh Ramdas Ingle hung himself from the ceiling of his house at Takli village in Akot taluka of this district yesterday, while imitating a television scene.

A fifth standard student in a zilla parishad school, the boy prepared a noose and hung himself from the ceiling after covering his face with a black coloured vest.

Ingle was alone at home at the time of incident. His parents were working in the field while siblings were away in school, police added.
