Himachal to participat in National Tourism Fair at Ahmedabad

Shimla, Sep 14 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh is one of the seveteen states of the country to participate in the National Tourism Fair being held at Ahmedabad from September 14-16, a spokesman of tourism Department said.

Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation would set up an information centre and a stall at the fair to provide information to the visitors about its potential in tourism sector, he said yesterday.

Apart from distribution and sale of publicity literature, documentary films produced by Information and Public Relations, the State Tourism Department would screen documentaries on its art, culture and development during the three-day tourism festival, said the spokesman.

The fair would provide an opportunity to the prospective Gujarati tourists to plan their package tours to Himachal Pradesh, he added.
