UTI Dividend Yield Fund declares tax-free dividend of 8 per cent

Mumbai, Sep 13 (UNI) UTI Dividend Yield Fund, an open ended equity oriented scheme, declared tax-free dividend of 8 per cent (Re 0.80 per unit on face value of Rs 10).

The record date for the dividend is September 17, 2007, UTI said in a release issued here today.

During this financial year the scheme had earlier declared a dividend of 8 per cent in June 2007.

All unit holders registered under the dividend option of UTI Dividend Yield Fund as on September 17, 2007 will be eligible for this dividend. Also investors, who join the dividend option of the scheme on or before the record date, will be eligible for the dividend, the release stated.

The NAV per unit as on September 12, 2007 was Rs 13.07 under the dividend option, the release added.
