Three arrested, police seize Rs 3.5 lakh, motorbikes

Visakhapatnam, Sep 13 (UNI) The city crime police today arrested three persons in connection with the theft of 22 motorcyles of various makes, and seized Rs 3.5 lakh from them.

Talking to newspersons here, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police P Rama said D Siva Kumar (23), M Gurunadha Rao (24) and N Suresh Kumar (29) hailing from Chakalipeta, were habitual offenders.

They stole the two wheelers from various parts of the city and sold them to K Govinda Raju (28) of Bobbili in Vizianagaram district, he said.

The arrested were sent in judcial custody.
