Petrol pump employee shot dead, Rs 24,000 looted

Hardoi, Sep 13 (UNI) Unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a pertrol pump employee and decamped with Rs 24,000 in cash in Kotwali (dehat) area here today.

At least 12 miscreants stormed into a petrol pump, situated near Naya Gaun on Lucknow-Hardoi highway, and held captive an employee, police said.

On opposing, they shot dead cashier Umesh Mishra and fled with the cash amount.

Investigation was on.
