Old man slashed to death by epileptic barber

Chennai, Sep 13 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, a 72-year-old man was slashed to death by a barber, who developed seizures, while shaving at suburban Perungaluthur.

Police said Venkateswarulu (72), a retired truck driver, suffered cut injuries in his neck, when the barber developed seizures and slashed his neck, while shaving, last evening.

He was rushed to the Hindu Mission hospital in Tambaram, where he was declared dead.

Police arrested Kumar (27), the barber on charges of murder.
