Minister assures of fillin vacant medical college seats
Patiala, Sep 12 (UNI) All the remaining vacant seats in medical colleges would be filled in a fair and transparent manner according to the prescribed norms of the counselling procedure, Medical Education and Research Minister Tikshan Sud here today.
Talking to mediapersons here he said that there were 770 total seats for MBBS courses, out of which 350 were available in government colleges and these all have been filled up, except 7 NRI quota seats at Faridkot.
He refused to answer questions regarding fee hike in private medical colleges and left out seats in NRI quota of private colleges.
