Haryana earmarks Rs 30 cr for Mini Secretariat

Chandigarh, Sep 13 (UNI) The Haryana government has earmarked a sum of Rs 30.68 crore during the current financial year for the construction of Mini Secretariat and allied buildings in the state.

Minister of State for Revenue Savitri Jindal said the government had undertaken the construction of Mini Secretariat, Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) Complexes, tehsil, sub-tehsil and residential complexes for Revenue Officers at all districts and sub-divisional headquarters.

Ms Jindal said that Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had extended full honour and dignity to the representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions of the state.

She said the Haryana government had taken a decision to give a sum of Rs 500 per month as honorarium to Lambardars and 22,000 Lambardars of the state were getting benefit of this ambitious scheme in the state.

She said that during the current financial year a sum of Rs 13.32 crore had been earmarked for making payment of honorarium to the Lambardars.

Besides, an amount of Rs 5.5 lakh had also been sanctioned for making identity cards for the Lambardars in the state.
