Govt committed to Hindi promotion: CM
Hyderabad, Sep 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the government was committed to the promotion of Hindi.
In his message on the eve of National Hindi Diwas, he said spread of Hindi into people of various regions, languages, customs and culture, would be a matter of pride.
'' Hindi stands as a symbol of national spirit, unity, integrity and mutual harmony among our people, as Mahatma Gandhi had put it", Dr Reddy said.
The Chief Minister hoped that the 'Hindi Diwas' would be a source of inspiration to all to uphold and strengthen the unity, integrity and the spirit of nationalism.
