Global Malayalee meet in UK on Oct 13

Kottayam, Sep 13: The anniversary meeting of the UK province of the Global Malayalee Council will be held at Liverpool on October 13 with various programmes, Council President Reji Parackan said.

Addressing a press conference here yesterday, he said Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala AsSembly Oommen Chandy would inaugurate the conference and Roshy Augustin, MLA, would deliver the keynote address.

The Global Malayalee Council, the largest organisation of resident and non-resident Keralites, strove for India's comprehensive socio-economic development, especially through social welfare, health awareness, cultural exchange, business enhancement and educational development, he said.
