Convention of Congress district and block presidents on Sep 25

Shimla, Sep 13 (UNI) A convention of Congress' block and district presidents of Mandi, Bilaspur, Kullu and Lahaul Spiti of Himachal Pradesh will be held at Mandi on September 25, a spokesman said today.

Party's state incharge RK Dhawan would preside over the function, which would also be attended by HPCC president Viplove Thakur, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, HPCC office bearers and heads of frontal organisations, he said in a release here.

The spokesman said the convention has been convened to seek feedback from the people on the government's functioning and present political scenario, besides chalking out its strategy for the coming state assembly elections.
