Chennai-based businessman donates 'Golden Conch'

Tirumala, Sep 13 (UNI) A Chennai-based businessman has donated a 'Golden conch worth Rs 12 lakh, to the world famous Venkateswara temple here today.

The businessman, whose name was not revealed by the authorities, handed ove his unique offering, weighing more than 850 grammes, to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board Chairman B Karunakara Reddy.

The Golden conch would be used in the rituals in the temple, he said.
