Barrackpore, Sep 13 (UNI) Left Front Chairman and CPI (M) State Secretary Biman Basu today ruled out the possibility of advancement of Lok Sabha poll despite differences of opinion on certain issues with the UPA government at the Centre.

Unveiling a bust of departed CITU leader and former West Bengal Legislator Sitaram Gupta, Mr Basu said the Left Front was not in favour of dislodging the UPA government at the Centre under the prevailing political situation in the country to invite early election.

The Left Front Chairman called upon the jute workers to fulfil Mr Gupta's dream of welfare of the labourers.

To a question on the Opposition movement against setting up industries in West Bengal, the Left Front Chairman, however, did not elaborate.
