Transfer of power in Karnataka would be smooth: BJP

New Delhi, Sept 12 (UNI) The BJP today agreed with Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's views that the transfer of power in the state would be 'smooth' and the government in the state would be 'stable'.

Sought for BJP's comments about Mr Swamy's observations this morning, party spokesman Ravishankar Prasad said the BJP too agreed with the Chief Minister's perception.

The Janata Dal (Secular)-led coalition in Karnataka is to hand over the Chief Ministership to the BJP on October 3 for the last 20 months of the term of the Assembly.
