Ram Setu: Uma warns of fast unto death

Bhopal, Sep 12 (UNI) Bharatiya Janashakti Founder-President and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti today warned the Centre that she would fast unto death if the Centre did not withdraw, in a week, its affidavit -- submitted in the Supreme Court -- favouring the Setusamudram Project.

''The affidavit is an insult to Lord Ram and Hindutva and amounts to playing with the country's prestige,'' the firebrand sadhvi alleged in a statement issued here.

The fast would get underway at Delhi on September 18.
