R Viswanathan appointed Ambassador to Argentina

New Delhi, Sept 12 (UNI) Mr R Viswanathan, presently Joint Secretary in the External Affairs Ministry at the headquarters, has been appointed Ambassador to Argentina.

An Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 1977 batch Mr Viswanathan will succeed Mr P Rath, the External Affairs Ministry said here today.
