Naresh Wadhwa, Cisco's SAARC manager

Mumbai, Sep 12: Networking major Cisco has appointed Mr Naresh Wadhwa as president and country manager of its India and SAARC region operations.

He will report directly to Mr Owen Chan, Ciscos president, Asia Pacific operations.

Mr Wadhwa has been with Cisco for almost ten years and was till recently based in Hong Kong, heading the marketing organization in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to this, Mr Wadhwa was responsible for channels, commercial, sales operations and marketing across North Asia based at Hong Kong.

Before moving to Hong Kong in 2004, Mr Wadhwa was the sales leader for the Western Region of India, overseeing Cisco's largest region in the country.
