MPEDA inks pact with Norwegian agency for cage fish farming

Kochi, Sep 12 (UNI) The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a premier Norwegian agency to promote the highly technical cage fish farming in India.

Talking to reporters here yesterday, MPEDA Chairman G Mohan Kumar said by adopting cage farming, India would be able to produce marine finfish on a large scale in offshore waters.
