Matar town observes bandh over hike in milk prices

Nadiad, Sep 11 (UNI) Matar town in Kheda district observed total bandh today in protest against Matar Co-operative Milk Dairy raising the milk prices by Rs 10 a litre.

A hunger strike by senior citizens by rotation is also underway since September 9.

Today it was the turn of Krishnakant Brahmbhatt to sit on hunger strike. The bandh however was incident free.
