Man Indus commences new production line, for $ 225 mln order

New Delhi, Sept 12 (UNI) Man Industries India Ltd today announced the commissioning of new production line to execute 225 million dollars order from its US client.

The newly commissioned mill will produce helical submerged arc welded (H-SAW) pipes, which are used primarily in the transmission of oil, gas and water.

The plant has a capacity of 2,00,000 MT per annum, the company said in a statement.

The company has started shipment of 18 meter H-SAW pipes to the US client.

With this, Man Industries India Ltd will become the first Indian pipe company to manufacture 18 metre pipes, the statement added.
