Live India gets notices for sting operation

New Delhi, Sep 12: The Live India TV channel that carried out the so-called sting operation allegedly to frame a Delhi school teacher, has been slapped with two showcause notices by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The first notice was issued for violating the licencing norms as the Channel changed its name to 'Live India' from 'Janmat' without obtaining any permission from the government.

They have replied to the notice and their reply was being studied, a Ministry official told UNI
