Feroze Gandhi's birth anniversary observed

Rae Bareli, Sep 12 (UNI) The 95th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi's father Feroze Gandhi was observed here today.

A tribute ceremony was organised at the Feroze Gandhi Engineering College, where speakers noted ''not only Ferozji was a great politician, but had set new records in social work, education and public welfare.'' Congress state unit vice president Ganesh Shankar Pandey observed as the first MP from the Rae Bareli constituency, Mr Gandhi had set new records in higher education by establishing the engineering college here.
